This dynamic exercise is not traditionally regarded as part of Yoga practices, but it is a such a good method of strengthening the back and improving flexibility, that it has been included in this web site. It is an excellent exercise to do in the mornings after taking a bath and before doing any other yoga techniques. The lady in the photographs is Helen who has been training with Bruce Singleton (Swami Vyasadev) since year 2000 at his classes in Reading. This and other dynamic yoga sequences can be learnt in Vyasadev's classes. No book, audio tape, video tape, CD, DVD, website or other media can ever replace instruction from a qualified Yoga teacher.
